Nomex® knit and capeskin leather giving you the comfort and flexibility you need. Nomex® is manufactured by E.I.Dupont. It is a Meta-Aramid fiber used extensively where high heat or fire exist. When used to manufacture gloves or clothing it is known world wide as fire retardant protective apparels. Manufactured to military specification MIL-G-181188B. Made in USA.
Nomex Gloves stretch a little, so the fit should be snug. They remain soft and pliable even if they get wet. The soft capeskin leather allows for the fine tactile sense needed for flying.
Fibres of NOMEX® consist of long rigid molecular chains produced from poly-metaphenylene diamine. NOMEX® does not flow or melt upon heating. Decomposition and charring does not proceed at a significant rate until well over 350 degrees C - without melting. NOMEX® is both chemically and thermally very stable.
