Probably the only company in Singapore with the ability to embroider socks. The attachments and frames needed to achieve this is expensive, and with the high labour cost in Singapore, embroidering of socks is not cost effective. We embarked on this mainly because it is the only way to become a one-stop-shop for all our dealers embroidery need.
Socks embroidery is considered one of our slowest moving items in all our product lines, reasons being:
- low exposure as a Gift and Premium Product (most of the time covered by pants).
- high cost for embroidery because in always comes in a pair.
- limited sewing field size, therefore letterings,company name and motto cannot be always read because of the minute size of the embroidery.
- Product versus embroidery price makes it difficult tojustify (eg. socks S$1.50 per pair, embroidery charges S$0.40 each. Multiplied by 1 pair = S$0.80).
But we will still be prepared to service our dealers as an added service, so as to empower all our dealers with confidence that all jobs with embroidery decoration can be settled at our factory.
